St. Bernard State Park/New Orleans

This was not our favorite stop. The park

was ok but nothing to do there. It is surrounded by swampy land and not a nice area south east of New Orleans about 20 miles. It did not help that it rained most of the time.

We went into NOLA one day. mostly walked around the French Quarter. We accidentally walked into a mens gay bar, Corner Pocket, for a beer. We didn’t stay long but we had a good laugh. Oops.

We had some yummy beignets and but opted out of seafood while in town.
