We are camping just 1 hour and 30 down the road from Myrtle Beach at Francis Marion National Forest. We had to go into Charleston to get some photos from Costco. To get to Charleston we go through Mt. Pleasant, Isle of Palms, Fort Moultrie and a few other little towns. It is about 45 minutes away. A nice couple in Pendleton, SC told us to eat at ACME Seafood in Isle of Palms. We stopped for lunch and OH MY... we were so glad we did! The pictures do not do it justice. On the left, crab cakes, poached eggs on an English muffin with hollandaise sauce; side of smoked Gouda grits. On the right, wild Alaskan salmon, fried eggs on a brussel sprout hash covered in hollandaise sauce. Every bite was a WOW!! We will go back before we leave! Staying here a week! Ellen will be here for Thanksgiving tomorrow.
