Koreshan State Park, Florida, near Fort Myers. We arrived here in the evening and went for a walk. The bamboo was planted by a religious group call the Koreshans. They were here in the late 1800’s to late 1940’s. It is a historical site with the Estero River running through it and several large buildings where the sect members lived. We stayed here because Anna’s boyfriend‘s family lives near. Anna, Abbey and Jack flew in for the holidays.
