Fishing in Homer, Alaska

We have not had the greatest luck fishing in Alaska. We seem to keep hitting the salmon runs in between peak times. We tried a ‘fishing hole’ on Homer Spit but caught ’0’. This shot is at the end of the spit, even if we did not catch anything, the view was amazing. We caught 3 flounder and 2 Irish lords(funny fish with a funny name)!v
