This northern beach area is great for razor clams. Abbey and Scott started with a shovel and progressed to hand digging. The clam leaves a donut hole on the sand then you have to dig fast because the clam quickly dives deeper in the sand at the first movement. They were fairly deep but Abbey became expert at the dig then reach for clam with her hands method. 2 days of digging brought us 2-3 meals of clams. Scott cleaned them outside(rather tedious) then fried in a cast iron over the fire. Really good!!!
